After taking a break from recruitment and working in the marketing department of his local credit union, Westcountry Savings & Loans, he realised that no recruitment services existed that were specially tailored to the credit union sector.
James blended his recruitment expertise with his insider knowledge of third sector finance to found CU Recruitment in 2022, offering a specialist service that you won’t find elsewhere in the UK. Steve is our Resourcing Manager, and is the face of CU Recruitment to our valued candidates. With almost 10 years in banking and many years under his belt as a recruiter, Steve is a highly valued and knowledgeable member of the team who loves talking to candidates. When he’s not speaking to candidates, Steve can be found socialising at the pub or spending his spare time with his kids.
Tilly started off as an admin & recruitment assistant, helping with candidate screening and day-to-day administration activities. She now manages all of CU Recruitment’s marketing, design, and social media channels and keeps us looking good!
